At
present, the Nuestra Señora del Carmen Cooperative has five thousand seven
hundred hectares of olive cultivation, growing olives of Picual variety, which
gives the olive oil specific, unrivalled characteristics of taste and smell.
Average production is in excess of 25.000.000. kilos of olives and 5.500.000
kilos of oil.
One of the pillars of the company´s policy is the desire to expand, sustained by strategies of constant improvement in our processes in all areas of the organization . The most recent Project was the reform of the Olive Mill, undertaken in 2004, which has turned it into a pioneering plant in technical advances, without in anyway compromising our commitment to traditional methods and our obsession with the quality of the final product, the virgin olive oil.
