Carmen Limited edition has been selected as one of the best ten Extra Virgin Olive oils of Jaén, the most productive region in the world.

Our olive oil has been chosen, together with other ten, among other twenty six oils that were registered for the contest. The president of the jury, the Basque gourmet Rafael García Santos, qualified the chosen oils with a tasting mark over 8.5; a mark that in his opinion shows the excellent quality of the oils.

He assessed that, in this edition, he has found a fruitier, fresher and living oil and consequently they are keeping closer to what society demands.

He also emphasized the compromise acquired with the search of quality that can be found in the effort and thoroughness. In this sense, he underlined that the bitterness and spicy has been transformed into qualities, so, in his opinion, this is a reason for tasting happiness.

The contest will choose the three best olive oils in November and they will be previously used by the best chefs in the world in the Kursaal Palace at San Sebastián. Likewise, it will be present at the Arezzo Gourmet Fair in Italy; more than 40,000 restaurants will be directly informed about it and it will also appear in the Michelin guidebook.
